There was on need to buy gold, you can use the old disks. Thanks in advance for any help you can give us. Sorry if this is disjointed, but we sure need help, so if you need more info, please post. I am very confused as to how to get this to work with the SDK. Also, inside the box was FSX Deluxe (32 bit) + the Acceleration Disk. This info was at .ĭon had FSX Deluxe with the Acceleration Pack before, but after googling, everyone said it would not run under 7, so we bought the Gold version, but no where on the box does it say it is compatible with 7. I have googled for info and found a real good article on installing this with SDK, but then I found other references that if you wanted to install the SDK, you had to first install Net Framework 2.0, VC2005 Redist, and XML4 which are all old programs and don't know if they will even run on win7. He has been into flight sims since 98, but this is really turning out to be a problem. *grin* At least for the price, it better be top of the line. It has highend audio, etc, but right now I can not tell you what, because I don't know my way around the Mac side yet. I am trying to help my husband get this installed on his new computer (we put Win7 on this one instead of XP) He is running a dual boot on one of the new 27inch Mac's, 1T HD divided between Mac and Win7.
